More from Made@EU

made@eu end
The fantastic group of makers who took part in the Made@EU workshop at Plymouth College of Art. Our final day, and celebration of all we had made.
We 3d printed a PLA form, then invested it in plaster, burned it out in the kiln [like lost wax], and cast a bronze piece. This is it coming out of the ‘pickle’ to remove the plaster.
We were shown the wallpaper press, and the possibilities of created digitally manufactured printing blocks.
Some of the pieces produced at the workshop. We still used traditional techniques, such as hot glass, slip cast ceramics and pewter casting to augment the digital.
